Passages. From Pietro Canonica to Roberto Paolini
Guided tour as part of European Heritage Days 2014.
The fruit of a well-carried out comparative research that convincingly sustains the philosophical arguments put together from Jorge Luis Borges to Gilles Deleuze, this exhibit hopes to give credit to the argument that sculpture is a “passage” in which time, matter and finite form coagulate around the epoch in which they find themselves, representing themselves. A dialectic debate in which Roberto Paolini and Pietro Canonica share the idea of sculpture as subtle spirit.
Guided tour of the exhibition by Paola Pluchino and Carla Scicchitano
